Welcome to Interfaith House!

Interfaith House’s mission is to provide a healing environment and resources to help ill and injured homeless adults restore their health, rebuild their lives and regain self sufficiency

Since opening our doors, Interfaith House has served over 6,600 homeless men and women at our 64-bed facility in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood. We play a unique role among the network of groups addressing the challenges faced by the Chicago area’s homeless population, filling what was a service gap. Interfaith House helps homeless adults with medical recovery needs that cannot be appropriately addressed in a shelter environment. Most of our residents come to us directly from a hospital or clinic. We were the first, and remain the only such organization in Illinois.
